Day 1: Hanoi – Ride to Vu Linh – Thac Ba Lake
Get pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter at around 08:00 AM, then we move to our Garage to choose your favourite bikes. We ride along the edge of the Red River bank, chance to see the real daily life. Arrive Doan Hung town, we pause for lunch at a local resaurant.
In the afternoon, we can do some off-road ride through villages of hill tribe (Dzao people). We arrive our local homestay in the late afternoon. Get welcome by the host and enjoy home-cooked dinner and rice wine.

Day 2: Thac Ba Lake – Ride to Ha Giang city
After breakfast and saying goodbye to our host, hop on the bike around 08:30 AM and ride to Ha Giang. First ride along the Thac Ba lake on a small road lined by palm trees and scenic mountain views. We can have more off-road than yesterday to challenge yourself before we reach Ha Giang in the late afternoon. Lunch will be serve en-route at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Ha Giang – Ride to Dong Van
Get ready at 08:30 AM, we will start the ride after we check and apply the lubricant to the chain. A short ride with main road then we make a turn to quiet roads and offroad. The highlights of today is Hmong King Palace and Dong Van old town - Nestled within a valley surrounded by rocky landscapes, Dong Van Old Town originated in the early 20th century. We spend our relaxing time at an old house coffee shop before we ride to the hotel for check-in.
Lunch and dinner will be served at local restaurants. Spend your nights here with massages and bars.

Day 4: Dong Van – Ride to Meo Vac, Bao Lac
Today will be the best of the ride. Morning first part is for conquering Ma Pi Leng Pass – One of the four greatest passes in the North. Take some great photo shots with Nho Que river. Lunch will be at Meo Vac – a small valley town with rocky moutains surrounding.
Afternoon is a fantastic offroad ride to Khau Vai with bamboo raft crossing the river then we ride along the border belt with China to Bao Lac, Cao Bang province. Check-in our local homestay in Bao Lac, enjoy the dinner and overnight here.

Day 5: Bao Lac – Ride to Ban Gioc Waterfall
We left Bao Lac around 8 AM after breakfast. Today we will conquer the 14-section Mẻ Pia Pass. Traveling along the Vietnam-China border to Cao Bang, we will then head to Ban Gioc Waterfall - one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam. If time permits, we will take a boat ride to explore the waterfall.

Day 6: Ban Gioc - Ride to Bac Son, Lang Son
Today’s ride is an easy ride but quite interesting, we will experience the iconic historical Highway 4, passing through the notable Dong Khe town, known for the Battle of Route Coloniale 4 during the Indochina War (the war with the French)
We will have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we continued to ride to Bac Son valley. This valley is also quite famous for its incredible lakes. If you head straight to the valley’s pathways leading you to the paddy fields, you’ll get a chance to see the beautiful river that runs crossing the rice fields. Besides the valley itself, the Bac Son district’s village possesses a beauty of its own.

Day 7: Bac Son - Ride to Halong, Ferry to Cat Ba Island
This motorbike ride to Halong Bay promises a diverse and captivating experience, providing unique views of North Vietnam’s stunning landscapes. As we venture onward, the terrain gradually shifts to lower elevations, revealing an array of fascinating sights to behold. The morning ride unfolds on relatively flat roads, meandering through quaint towns and peaceful villages surrounded by picturesque hills and lush rice fields.
In the afternoon, our motorcycle tour will trace the scenic coastal roads, leading us to the vibrant city of Ha Long. Take a ferry to Cat Ba Island. As soon as we arrive, park our bikes then hop on a speedboat to get to our sleeping area. It is a local homestay at a floating village on the bay with basic living conditions. Enjoy your seafood dinner and stay overnight there.

Day 8: Cat Ba island – Ride to Hanoi
Morning relaxing, you can go fishing or kayaking near the floating village, enjoy lunch then we return to Cat Ba island. Enjoy the wonderful view of Lan Ha Bay on the way back. Hop on our bike and we hit the road for Hanoi around 04:30 PM, return the bike, cheers with cold beers. We will arrange a transfer to take you back to your hotel in Hanoi. End of services.

*Notes: The ride back to Hanoi from Cat Ba is mainly with the main road. If your group wants to have a car transfer back, please let us know. We can arrange as per your request and there is a surcharge for it.
