At Vietnam Biker Mates, we are committed to the safety and wellbeing of all our travelers. Hence, we have developed this Safety management system so that our travelers are as safe as is reasonably practicable throughout our tour programs and services provided.
Our commitments to our travelers are as follows:
- To promote a positive health & safety culture throughout our own and our local partners.
- To set standards that meet the needs of our travelers that are measurable, achievable and realistic.
- To ensure the provision of adequate resources, both financial and human, to achieve a high level of safety and continuous improvement.
- To measure and review our performance and compliance with our own system.
- To ensure our staff are trained to respond quickly and efficiently in case of an emergency.
- To review, maintain and update the Safety management system at least annually.
Satety Commitment
Our overall commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all our travelers is covered in our two comprehensive handbooks:
1 . Safety Management System Policy, which includes:
Accommodation: We partner with accommodations that adhere to strict safety regulations and hygiene standards. From fire safety measures to secure locations, you can rest easy knowing your comfort and security are prioritized.
Meals: We prioritize food safety by partnering with local restaurants that possess a valid Certificate of Food Hygiene and Safety (whenever applicable). For smaller establishments, we may conduct additional hygiene evaluations to ensure your well-being.
Motorbikes and Gears: We provide well-maintained in-house motorbikes, regularly inspected to meet the highest safety standards. We also ensure you have high-quality imported helmets and other protective gear for a safe ride.
Tour Guides: Our experienced and certified tour guides are not just there to show you the sights. They are trained in first aid and safety protocols, ensuring you have a knowledgeable and reliable companion on your adventure.
Excursions: Every excursion is carefully planned and risk-assessed. Our guides will brief you on safety procedures and potential hazards, allowing you to participate with confidence.
Emergency Procedures: In the unlikely event of an emergency, we have clear procedures in place. Our guides are trained to respond swiftly and effectively, and you’ll have access to necessary support.
2. Safety Handbook for Travelers:
Vietnam Biker Mates will provide practical safety information to travelers prior to your tour including a Safety Handbook.
